FAIR Commons¶
The FAIR Commons provide a shared, reusable, and interoperable foundation for working with FAIR assessment content across tools and services within OSTrails. They define how FAIR-related guidance, tests, and assessment results are represented and exchanged in a consistent way, without prescribing how individual systems are internally designed or implemented. FAIR Commons are primarily aimed at software developers building services that produce, execute, or consume FAIR assessments and their results. This includes:
FAIR assessment tool providers, Registries and catalogues exposing FAIR-related guidance and tests, other services that integrate with these tools and registries, as outlined in our Architecture and Pathways.
